About the role

As an IT Support Analyst, you will work within a close-knit team to provide professional IT support services to internal clients based across our six offices in a timely and friendly manner. This is a pivotal support role with varied workload, managing competing priorities and competing deadlines.

This 3 month contract role with potential for extension will suit someone who is proactive, independent, thrives on being busy and works with a sense of urgency. You will have a passion for continuous improvement, have had experience with various IT Support scenarios and prioritise providing an exceptional experience to both our employees and clients. 

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Monitoring and responding to alerts for change in service status report (availability, downtime, error reporting)
  • Ensuring all server and client patching is completed
  • Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed on all systems
  • Providing frontline support for all applications, hardware and services provided to the firm
  • Assisting in the upgrade of Server Applications
  • Provisioning of corporate applications to Personal Devices (BYOD)
  • Managing user accounts of all Application or Security Management Systems as defined by the Service Catalogue
  • Access rights management
  • Managing email distribution/security groups
  • Managing user onboarding and offboarding
  • Configuring MS Office, iManage, Finance and other applications
  • Assisting in office re-locations
  • Ensuring meeting room systems are functioning optimally
  • Assisting with non-technical issues where required by the firm

Education & Experience

  • Completion of IT related degree or relevant experience
  • At least 3 – 4 years prior experience in an IT Support role, preferably in the legal or professional services industry

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in the operations of a law firm
  • High level of experience in supporting and using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
  • Experience in iManage Work 10 Client and Server Support
  • Experience in Aderant Expert 8.0 and above – Client and Server Support
  • Experience in Azure AD deployment and management
  • Experience with Azure MFA or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar
  • Experience in developing training manuals and programs
  • Experience in implementing and managing online training solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to identify and prioritise workloads
  • Able to review technical information and articulate in clear, concise language
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with peers
