About the Role

This fantastic opportunity is for a Senior Associate to join our Corporate & Commercial team in our Melbourne  office working on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters including private M&A, outsourcing and contracting generally, intellectual property (with a focus on trade marks), compliance and regulatory advice, corporate governance and property (including leasing and conveyancing).  You will work across different industry sectors, with a particular focus on the financial services, health and not for profit sectors.  This role will provide the successful candidate with an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a highly experienced Principal and Special Counsel whilst being  provided with excellent mentoring to develop their career.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Minimum 8 years PQE in a corporate and commercial based role in private practice or in-house, and with proven experience in various areas of commercial law (corporate, business transactions and contractual matters).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to be a key member of a busy, tight knit team
• A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career
