A permanent full time position commencing 27 January 2026. 

The role of Middle Leader exists to support the principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:

  • Has a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage staff and successfully organise events within the school
  • Builds a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong technological skills to facilitate the timetable and administration of the school.

The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching.
  • Appropriate additional qualifications or experience in a relevant area.
  • Level C Accreditation aligned  in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’  policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.

  • Knowledge of Edval

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
