A temporary part time position (working Tuesday & Wednesday) commencing 27 January 2026 until 17 December 2026. 

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L
  • ​Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas
  • Effective classroom practitioner with the ability to create a motivating and engaging learning environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and reflection to inform teaching practice and ensure growth for all students
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning
  • Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning
  • Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

  • ​Knowledge of the NSW PD/H/PE and S​cience & Technology K-6 Syllabus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills..

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
  • Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
  • The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
