The Executive Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably experienced leaders of education for the full time, substantive position of Assistant Principal at St Columbkille's Catholic Parish Primary School, Corrimal, commencing in January 2026.

St Columbkille’s was founded in 1904 and has a long, rich and celebrated history within the Corrimal community. Their traditions, values and beliefs are inspired by the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Sisters of St Joseph.

ABOUT YOU

To achieve success in the role, the successful candidate will be someone who can:

  • Ensure that school processes meet system, NESA and legislative requirements.

  • Develop and maintain positive partnerships with students, families and carers, the local church and the wider school community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-graduate study in a relevant discipline.

  • Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) in accordance with the ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
