A temporary part time position commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025.

The purpose of this role is to assist the school community to build the capacity of teachers and other staff, to cater for the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of students.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- a deep personal commitment to the practice of their faith and their own spiritual formation
- A deep knowledge of the English and Maths Curriculum and a skilled classroom practitioner.
- qualifications and or studies in Special Education, or the willingness to undertake relevant study
- an understanding of, and willingness to support:
- A deep knowledge of the English and Mathematics curriculum
- A range of adjustments to appropriately support students with a diverse range of needs
- Inclusion of students with particular learning needs in the life of the school
- Quality differentiated teaching in the regular classroom
- Adjustments to cater for particular needs in the regular classroom
- Small group and targeted individual interventions within and outside regular class
- commitment to and capacity to work in a collaborative and collegial manner with staff, parents/carers and external professionals
- a willingness to contribute to the life and culture of the school
- understanding of the Disability Standards for Education 2005 aligned to the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
- System policies and procedures including Lighting the Way Strategic Plan, Diverse Learning Needs Policy, Pastoral Care and Wellbeing and Case Collaboration Framework (www.dow.catholic.edu.au under policies).
- Sound knowledge of NCCD and the CSNSW Personalised Planning Tool.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
