St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing K-12 school with a student population exceeding 1500 students in 2025. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site.  As such, the College is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8), and Senior Years Learning (9-12). St Francis has recently completed its 7th Stage of building development and offers state-of-the-art learning,  specialist KLA and Administrative facilities.

Two permanent full time positions commencing 6 January 2025 (or by negotiation).  The successful applicant/s will be required to work 48 weeks per year, with 4 weeks accrued annual leave and will have the responsibility of providing support services for students, staff, parents/carers, school administration and when called upon attending to First Aid. 

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

  • A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Extensive experience in administration and general office processes and procedures.
  • Ability to process data in a variety of forms and produce reports.
  • Effective organisational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
  • Proven experience working autonomously.
  • Can show ability to work with change and resilience in a fast paced environment.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Proven experience or commitment to learn in two or more of the following areas would be to your advantage:
    • Communications & Media (including social media apps, web site management and design, desktop publishing, newsletter and year book production, photo archives, formal school photos and yearly student diary production).
    • Student Management including but not limited to daily absence recording, processing and parent/carer follow up.
    • Enrolments and the use of Funnel software (training available).
    • Finance processing (POs, Invoicing, Ordering, Corporate Card expenses etc.).
    • WHS Administration support (Hazard reporting, inspections, Compliance registers).
    • Events Management (catering requests, setup and breakdown of Events, organisation of supporting staff - Note paid overtime. will be required/available for some College Events).
    • HR Payroll (entering of PACE daily casuals and absences for approval).

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a School Administration office.
  • Experience with Tech One, COMPASS, MS Office & Google Apps.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Certificate III in Office Procedures, Administration or related study or experience.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
