POSITIONS VACANT

A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing 3 June 2024 until 20 December 2024.  The successful applicant will be required to teach TAS classes.

The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in various TAS subjects across all stages
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider school community.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Aptitude and willingness to contribute to the broader life of Magdalene Catholic College whilst supporting the TAS Faculty and what it offers the College
• Qualified to teach various TAS subjects.

 GENERAL CAPABILITIES

• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching a variety of courses across the TAS Faculty
• The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
