Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Care Partners.
- Foster an inclusive, customer-first culture focused on results and accountability.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff to achieve their best.
- Champion health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, Support at Home program requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and support audits and accreditation.
- Support change management and service enhancements.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional in the Community Care or Aged Care sector, bringing deep knowledge of client packages, funding models, and budget management. You are someone who leads dynamic, high-performing teams with confidence—championing contemporary, people-centred leadership, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.

Essential Experience:
- Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in human services, social work, nursing, or a related field.
- Significant experience leading or supervising teams in community, aged care, or health services.
- Experience in business planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, aged care standards, and Support at Home program requirements.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive change and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Working with Children’s Check
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
