About the role
In this role, you will work alongside product owners and development teams to enable the delivery of complex solutions and products, removing obstacles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Classification: Band 8, $122,040 pa plus super

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate and coordinate Agile processes by creating and maintaining project timelines.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and escalate obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress, including identifying and managing risks.
  • Mentor and guide product team members on sprint processes.
  • Implement systems, processes, and workflows to deliver results, ensuring relevant policies, governance mechanisms and regulations are adhered to.
  • Champion our product delivery methodologies and practices, ensuring teams adhere to Agile value stream principles and ceremonies.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of formal training and extensive experience in a similar role.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience conducting sessions with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including executive and senior management, from discovery and requirement gathering through to delivery.
  • Well-developed writing, presentation and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of, and experience with Agile standards and practices related to Agile & product delivery.
  • Established people skills to support, influence and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build cooperation and partnerships.

Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
