About the role
Working closely with the Manager of Advocacy, Government and Strategic Relations, you will develop and manage partnerships with new and existing organisations to maximize benefits for the City, its partners, and the community. This role supports the delivery of partnership activities and outcomes that advance the City’s goals. Classification: Band 7, Commencing at $103,521 pa + super
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development and implementation of partnership initiatives that align with department strategies and goals..
- Provide subject matter guidance to department leaders and relevant stakeholders as required.
- Support the Department with international and government relations activities as needed.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure each partnership the city holds is maximised.
- Manage the administration and reporting for all City partnerships.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualification in business, engagement, communications and / or experience in sponsorship and partnership management.
Essential Experience:
- Professional experience in strategic relationship management.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams as part of event management to ensure flawless event execution from start to finish.
- Proven interpersonal skills to effectively support, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities to drive successful outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders and secure alignment.
- Meticulous planning and time management capabilities to ensure efficient task completion.
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check Check and a Working with Children's Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
