About the role
In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for candidates and enquiries related to our recruitment campaigns. You'll support best practice recruitment programs and provide exceptional candidate support and coordination to successfully run recruitment campaigns, assessment centres, and other recruitment activities.
Work type: Temporary Full time (until 31 December 2025)
Classification: Band 5 $76,355-$86,617 pa plus super, pro rata
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day support to the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Draft and post job advertisements for the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Conduct phone screenings, reference checks, and coordinate background checks for suitable candidates, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Handle administrative tasks related to recruitment processes, including document management, coordination of pre-employment checks, and preparation of offer letters.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews and assessment centres.
- Respond to and action general enquiries related to recruitment activities.
- Build relationships with candidates and provide an excellent candidate experience.
- Create pipelines of suitable talent to quickly respond to recruitment requirements
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to support recruitment campaigns.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a Diploma or Certificate in Business or Human Resource Management, or relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, paired with a passion for providing outstanding candidate support and experiences.
- Proven success in an entry-level administration support role.
- Proficiency in using a range of computer applications.
- Ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
