About the role
In this role, you will work alongside product owners and development teams to enable the delivery of complex solutions and products, removing obstacles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Work type: Permanent Full Time
Classification: Band 8 $115,035 - $127,911 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate and coordinate Agile processes by creating and maintaining project timelines.
- Identify, troubleshoot and escalate obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress, including identifying and managing risks.
- Mentor and guide product team members on sprint processes.
- Implement systems, processes, and workflows to deliver results, ensuring relevant policies, governance mechanisms and regulations are adhered to.
- Champion our product delivery methodologies and practices, ensuring teams adhere to Agile value stream principles and ceremonies.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of formal training and at least 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
Essential Experience:
- Experience conducting sessions with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including executive and senior management, from discovery and requirement gathering through to delivery.
- Well-developed writing, presentation and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
- Strong understanding of, and experience with Agile standards and practices related to Agile & product delivery.
- Demonstrated people skills to support, influence and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
- Well-developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build cooperation and partnerships.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
