About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for administration, reception sales, and customer service functions, supporting the management team in developing the Precinct into an innovative community recreational facility. You will also coordinate a wide range of services and correspondence for the Leisuretime and BVAC portfolio, handling day-to-day tasks such as procurement, bookings, invoicing, and financial operations.
Work type: Permanent Part-Time (4 x 6hour shifts – Monday to Thursday).
Classification: Band 4 Commencing at $71,647 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote and implement Council’s policy of Excellence in Customer Service by providing a friendly and efficient receptionist service to customers and guests to the Leisuretime Sports Precinct.
- Attend to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a positive, professional, and timely manner.
- Efficient completion of administrative and reception functions inclusive and not limited to; bank reconciliation, accounts payable, petty cash, event and programming invoicing and preferred supplier processing for Leisuretime and Barwon Valley Activity Centre.
- Develop and maintain sound administration systems and procedures and provide support to Centre staff.
- Provide assistance to the Venue Manager and Operation Coordinators in the efficient and effective conduct of the day-to-day administration operations of the venues.
- Positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the Leisuretime Sports Precinct and to participate in the development of staff into an efficient, effective and customer focused team.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a versatile skill set with demonstrated experience in administration functions, enabling you to excel in this multi-skilled position.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive cash handling and POS experience.
- Well-developed IT and computer skills with solid operating knowledge of MS office, PerfectGym and Oracle.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written.
- Efficient and effective planning and use of own time to achieve specific and set objectives with the resources available and within set time frames.
- Working with Children Check.
- A valid CPR certificate.
- Level 2 First Aid.
