About the role
As a Shift Supervisor, you'll be the go-to leader on shift, ensuring smooth daily operations of our facilities. From supervising lifeguards and fitness staff to resolving patron issues and supporting plant operations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our centres run efficiently and our community has a great experience, every time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre
- Supervise and support staff across aquatic, reception, and program areas
- Monitor pool plant operations and water quality (at aquatic sites)
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as the Chief Warden on shift
- Deliver exceptional customer service and community engagement
- Support internal promotions, events, and tours
- Maintain high operational and safety standards across the centre
About you
We’re looking for proactive and energetic leaders with:
Essential Experience:
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (aquatic venues)
- First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Pool Operators Certificate (desirable)
- Barista, Food Handling or RSA (a bonus!)
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
