Job Overview

Working independently and collaboratively under the direction of the Director of Enterprise Applications and Analytics along with the Data Administrator and Analytics lead, the incumbent will work closely with campus constituents and IITS team members to design, develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions that meet the data needs of the university. Duties include development and design of database objects, ETLs, complex queries, data visualization, and reports. Additional duties include administration of reporting systems, documentation, training, and support of BI solutions to stakeholders. Data sourcing environments include PeopleSoft, open source, SaaS, as well as custom software systems.

Position Summary

Business Analyst (Information Technology Consultant - Career)

This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,667 - $6,000 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,678 - $11,547 per month
