SLP 642: Clinical Practice

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Summer 2023 to teach SLP 642: Clinical Practice. The course meets daily Monday - Friday, roughly at 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., for the second five weeks of summer session and includes clinical supervision for graduate students. The candidate should have experience in supervising graduate students in clinical practice in speech-language pathology. This position is a mandated reporter position.
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology,
- California speech-language pathology state license
- Certification by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (CCC)
- Three (3) years of clinical experience
- Knowledge and ability to perform clinical supervision through virtual/telehealth modality

Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $1,692 - $2,312 per unit
- CSU Classification Salary Range: $999 - $5,519 per unit
The course is anticipated to be a five (5) unit course.
