Job Overview
This is a part-time temporary position with a maximum of 10 hours each week, the position is 100% remote and there are no travel requirements.
Under the supervision of the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Financial Aid Compliance Specialist is responsible for evaluating existing controls and practices and identifying areas for improvement in alignment with Federal Title IV regulations, requirements, and best practices. Serving as a regulatory resource for the Financial Aid and Scholarships team, the Specialist provides guidance, support, and contributes to the development of policies, business process documentation, and training materials. The primary goal of the position is to ensure that all processes are consistent, uniform, and high-quality, while maintaining full compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Maintains overall responsibility for the continuing development and content management of the office website and all required consumer information disclosures.

Financial Aid Compliance Specialist (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt II)
This is a part-time, temporary, exempt position ending on or before one year from hire date. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $48.72 per hour (step 20)
CSU Classification Salary Range: $33.44 - $48.72 per hour
