Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror – we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). POSITION SUMMARY
The Group and Event Sales Manager will focus on selling Universal’s newest year-round horror attraction, Universal Horror Unleashed. They will oversee the day-to-day activity of ensuring that group and event sales targets and guest service standards are consistently met, and partner closely with Food & Beverage, Operations, Finance and other internal teams.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive group sales by proactively seeking sources of new business and securing group events through direct outreach, lead follow-up, networking, and engagement with professional associations and memberships. Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, following up to generate repeat business, new leads and referrals. Consistently meet and exceed established group and event sales goals and key performance metrics. Promote Universal Horror Unleashed as an event venue by hosting FAMs and conducting site visits and tours. Assists in the development of sales plans, sales initiatives and group sales collateral.

Create, manage, and distribute reports to effectively communicate sales data and insights. Utilize Salesforce for lead generation, account management and tracking sales activity. Effectively manage the sales cycle including lead generation, contracting, execution and follow-up.

Process group ticket sales, event deposits and balance payments using the SAP Horizon ticketing system. Create Banquet Event Orders and run-of-show schedules using internal systems. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless and successful event execution.

Continue to be well-versed in all Universal Horror Unleashed product offerings, procedures, and policies. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging event technologies. Participate in ongoing training, internal briefings, and product updates to ensure accurate and current knowledge is applied in all client interactions.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALFICIATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.
· Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Exceptional communication and presentational skills
· Technical acumen to effectively navigate point-of-sale and CRM systems including Salesforce, Delphi/Amadeus (Space Management/BEO), and Horizon/SAP POS/ticketing system is desirable
· Knowledge and experience working in the Las Vegas hospitality and/or event industry
· Consistent attendance and reliability
· Ability to work nights and weekends as determined by business needs
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
· Exhibits maturity and confidence in making decisions that will impact the business
· Strong analytical thinker
· Consistent attendance is a job requirement
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in related .
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years group & event sales experience in the Las Vegas hospitality and/or event industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
