Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY:

This role supports environmental compliance for UO North and Epic campuses by developing entry-level skills in water sampling, waste handling, stormwater and erosion control, groundwater remediation, chemical manager, and air emissions tracking.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct water sampling and analyze results.
• Manage chemical inventory and approval processes.
• Perform environmental inspections for waste, SPCC water systems, and NPDES erosion controls.
• Review waste programs and develop minimization recommendations.
• Assist with integrated response plan evaluations.
• Support sustainability inventory management.
• Complete other assigned entry-level environmental tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering.
• Preferred coursework completed: Environmental studies or sciences, including subjects such as biology, chemistry, and environmental science or engineering. Additional requirements include English Composition I & II and a Communication or Speech equivalent.

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
