JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the EHS team to ensure coordination of projects and tasks via administrative support, data entry and record maintenance, logistics and scheduling, and organization of materials and supplies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate EHS Training matters related to space booking, session planning, ongoing maintenance; Facilitate vendor access and drive on requests; maintain master training calendars and associated resource/facilitator scheduling, communicate available learning opportunities and class availability to business partners, respond timely to business partner requests for courses and enrolling/dropping training.
  • Update, maintain, and validate accuracy of EHS document management systems to include hard copy files, long term file storage, digital records while validating document retention protocol adherence related to active, archive and destruction schedules. Administer application access and permission levels.
  • Processes and/or generates regulatory reporting forms and records, safety glass/shoe requests, DOT Driver Qualification records, work permits, SDSs, medical surveillance letters, inspection form assignment and form updates, and other similarly assigned tasks.
  • Develops scopes of work while coordinating with sourcing and legal on contracts and bidding processes. Processes invoices and requisitions timely.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced environment preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
