JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for verifying, analyzing and populating all Park & Resort Operations data which is collected, maintained and/or sent to Operations / Tech Base. Maintains, updates and helps advance internal Databases maintained by Operations Base. Serves as a liaison by collecting, compiling and sharing data with various individuals and/or divisions to assist with their reporting needs and/or requests.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for analyzing, compiling and communicating out daily, weekly and monthly Park & Resort Operations reports, maintained by Ops/Tech Base. Creates reports to illustrate this information in a pleasant and comprehensible manner.
- Completes departments role in Finance and Attendance Reports (FLASH) approvals to ensure information is accurate and entered in a timely manner for daily approvals
- Works closely with other divisions to assist with internal reporting requests, data comparisons and the research of data trends.
- Populate and analyze Department tracking reports to monitor inventory levels, supply levels and call volumes, throughout Ops/Tech Base.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred with a background in finance, accounting or computer science.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of data entry, analysis and trending; or equivalent combination of education experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Must be proficient in working with Microsoft products, developing database reports and providing trend analysis.
- Experience with Tableau reporting platform preferred
- Willingness to produce reports on a regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis containing primary research, ultimately utilized by leaders at all levels within Universal Parks and Resorts.
- Desire to take proactive ownership of the accuracy and timeliness of reported data.
- Desire to work with colleagues to design the most effective data visualizations in reports and dashboards that identify trends and unlock key insights.
- Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail oriented, accurate, and flexible – able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines.
- Must be able to work with varying levels or management and communicate effectively and with confidence.
