Lecturer (Physiotherapy Clinical Educator)
- Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
- Duration: Fixed Term Role until 31 May 2028 (Possible extension, funding dependant)
- Remuneration: $133k - $156k base (+17% super and a leave loading)
- Work rights: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
- Location: UNSW Campus, Kensington. Role will require occasional site visits and a full drivers licence is strongly preferred

This Opportunity
The Physiotherapy Clinical Educator is responsible for coordinating and delivering physiotherapy clinical placement programs within the School of Health Sciences, ensuring high-quality clinical education and student learning experiences. The role contributes to curriculum development, evidence-based teaching, and strong engagement with clinical partners, while fostering student success and continuous improvement in physiotherapy education.
Key skills and experience required:
- A PhD in Physiotherapy or related disciplines or significant clinical education experience.
- Registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist in Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical experience within the industry and experience with work-integrated learning and clinical education
- Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales)
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry or experience of work-integrated learning (desirable)
