About UNSW:
UNSW isn’t like other places you’ve worked. Yes, we’re a large organisation with a diverse and talented community, a community doing extraordinary things. Together, we are driven to be thoughtful, practical, and purposeful in all we do. Taking this combined approach is what makes our work matter. If you want a career where you can thrive, be challenged and do meaningful work, you’re in the right place.
Why Your Role Matters:
As a Student Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful digital experiences and coordinating student engagement across the University. Partnering closely with Human Centred Designers, students and stakeholders, you will analyse and define business requirements to support the development and enhancement of Learning Management Systems (LMS) transformation—driving meaningful improvements to student life.
UNSW is rolling out a new learning management system (LMS), approved in June 2026, as a major university-wide transformation by 2030. Delivered faculty by faculty and aligned with the 2028 Flex-Semester transition for early adopting faculties, it will reshape teaching and learning.
The LMS Program goes beyond technology, combining change, training, and engagement through a human-centred design approach. Joining now means contributing to a high-impact initiative with strong leadership and a multidisciplinary team.
Embedded within an agile squad, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative scrum environment to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions. Your expertise will help ensure that student voices and student learning lifecycle initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities, while continuously improving user experience, operational efficiency, and online engagement across the University.
In this role, you will also lead and oversee business analysis engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes across the transformation of the LMS ecosystem and initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bring clarity to complex challenges, guide decision-making, and contribute to the continuous evolution of digital capabilities within the organisation.
