  • Employment Type: Full Time (35 hours per week)
  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Remuneration: Level 5 $88,717 - $100,386 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
  • Location: UNSW Kensington Campus, NSW (hybrid)

At UNSW, the Division of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement connects the University with communities, partners and audiences to create meaningful impact.

As Engagement & Partnerships Assistant, you’ll play an important role supporting the External Engagement & Partnerships and Strategic Events teams. From keeping calendars and communications running smoothly to helping deliver events and partner engagement activities, you’ll help create seamless experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys organisation, relationship coordination and being part of high-quality events and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide diary, inbox and administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate meetings, catering and engagement activities with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Assist with event planning and delivery, including logistics, ticketing, travel and communications.
  • Support on-the-ground delivery of events and projects as required.
  • Prepare emails, briefing materials and event communications.
  • Process invoices, assist with budgets and maintain reporting activities.
  • Support shared systems, calendars, databases and document management across the teams.

Who You Are

You’re an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting people, managing competing priorities and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You bring strong attention to detail, initiative and a collaborative mindset. You’re comfortable managing diaries and communications, coordinating logistics and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience in an administrative, EA or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence supporting meetings, events and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using business systems, databases or event platforms.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
