Why Your Role Matters:
As Culture & Engagement Consultant role you will deliver People & Culture (P&C) initiatives in our evolving people-centered portfolio, working across practice-themes spanning leadership, inclusion, capability and effectiveness to ensure that UNSW staff can deliver their best work.
Your focus will be elevating the employee experience at UNSW, driving culture & experience initiatives across the University. In this hands-on role, you’ll bring practiced expertise in the employee-experience space to deliver reward & recognition events as well as overseeing the use of engagement platforms (Cultural Amp) for our critical employee Insight Survey, to ensure meaningful impact across the university.
This role reports to the Head of Culture and Engagement and works to optimise future organisational development programs, translating insights into action, and ensure the function partners effectively with faculties and divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage organisational development programs end-to-end from scoping to delivery.
- Effectively deliver employee experience programs including the Vice- Chancellor Awards and VC Welcome Sessions, from start to finish, overseeing crucial event and communications management.
- Administering the use of engagement platforms (Cultural Amp) to roll out the University-wide employee survey, allowing the collection of valuable insight data across the university.
- Providing an advisory relationship, offering tools and presenting information sessions to build staff capability in critical areas.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and measurable success of the team, aligning to the UNSW Strategy: Progress for All
Who You Are: With extensive experience across the delivery of P&C programs, you’ll hold strong organisational development and employee experience expertise within a large and complex organisation.
You will have the following skills & experience:
- Demonstrated ability to lead end to end project management, stakeholder management and delivery, including the capability to manage programs that engage staff across diverse groups.
- Experience facilitating, providing expert advice and coaching, especially in relation to people & culture initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Awareness of inclusive and accessible practices in organisational development, learning design and change initiatives, and a willingness to build capability in this area.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to facilitate.
- Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, HR systems and databases.
- Excellent attention to detail, including time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and to work under pressure to deliver outcomes.
