Position Summary:

The Student Success Coordinator at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), UNSW Business School, plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, high-quality experience across postgraduate programs delivered both in-person and online. Reporting to the AGSM Success Manager, this role provides professional, proactive, and detail-oriented support to ensure operational excellence in course delivery, student engagement, and program administration.

The coordinator manages a broad range of responsibilities including complex student enquiries and case management, event planning and delivery, course coordination, and administrative processes, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, agility, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, resolving complex issues and providing sophisticated advice to colleagues, stakeholders and students in a time-effective manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to use tact, patience and understanding to communicate with influence and professionalism with AGSM students, colleagues and stakeholders on a variety of complex issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage events with multiple stakeholders, coupled with proven track record in planning, coordinating and executing successful events.
  • Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service and support to colleagues, stakeholders and students at all levels.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a positive team environment, work flexible hours and develop and foster networks with the AGSM and broader UNSW Community.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
