- Establish and enforce enterprise-wide business architecture principles, standards, and methodologies to support consistent and effective delivery.
- Lead and develop a high-performing business architecture team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic input into governance, planning, and scenario analysis, evaluating architectural options for feasibility, risk, and business impact.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across UNSW, advising on transformation roadmaps, representing EPMO in key forums, and promoting best practice and innovation in business architecture.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with substantial experience in business architecture, transformation, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional practice.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing business architecture strategies within large, complex, and federated organisations.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing current and target-state business architectures, including federated and data-mesh operating models, to deliver feasible and strategically aligned outcomes.
- Proven leadership in large-scale transformation initiatives, including business capability modelling, value stream analysis, and solution design.
- Strong people leadership and team development capability, with experience building and uplifting specialist capability.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise and business architecture frameworks, standards, and modelling tools (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, BPMN 2.0), alongside familiarity with contemporary technology platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to work strategically with senior executives to align outcomes across multiple domains while balancing pragmatism and governance requirements.
