  • Remuneration: Level 4 $81,335 - $85,799 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
  • Location: Kensington, NSW

Why Your Role Matters:

Join our IT Division as an Administrative Assistant, providing proactive, efficient and hands-on support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Reporting to the IT Administration Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in keeping the division running smoothly - from managing office operations to maintaining a welcoming and well-organised workspace.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the Admin inbox and coordinate building access requests.
  • Perform regular kitchen checks for restocking consumables and coffee machine servicing. 
  • Provide ad hoc catering support during meetings and events.
  • Handle day-to-day admin duties such as filing, ordering supplies, arranging couriers, and maintaining records.
  • Support meeting and event logistics, including room bookings, catering and setup.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff and visitors, ensuring smooth access and orientation.
  • Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and maintain positive relationships across the IT Division.

Who You Are

You’re an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys keeping things running behind the scenes. You have a practical mindset, great attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership over shared spaces and tasks.

You’ll also have:

  • A Diploma or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using online systems and databases.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, UNSW’s values and objectives.
