Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 | Level C from $155,403 plus leave loading and 17% super

Why Your Role Matters:
The primary focus of this appointment is to increase the school’s capacity in teaching and service leadership the areas of business and human resources management in the School of Business. Experience and expertise of developing new skills and competencies especially in relation to uncertainly and change triggered by the adoption of new and disruptive technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other future of work agendas in public and private (for profit and not-for-profit) sector organisations. Experience of teaching in Defence contexts is highly desirable. Applications are particularly welcome from people with experience in teaching business and management and human resource management courses at undergraduate, post-graduate and lifelong-learning levels.

 

Who You Are (skills and experience): 

  • A PhD in a field that complements the breadth of expertise of the School and supports teaching into Business Management and/or Human Resources Management and related subjects.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery into human resources management courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level;
  • Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods;
  • Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives;
  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact with clear evidence of the desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence as well as the capacity for research leadership;
  • High level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of students and staff;
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships;
