- Salary: Starting from $113,926 + 17% super + leave loading (pro-rata)
About the Team
Research Grants and Contracts (RGC), within the Division of Research & Enterprise, plays a critical role in supporting UNSW’s research performance and reputation through effective management of the University’s research income.
RGC is the key link between UNSW researchers, executive, and major funding bodies such as the NHMRC, ARC, government and non-government funders, competitive grant schemes and industry partners. Each year, RGC manages more than 2,800 applications and 6,000 active projects, supporting over 2,000 UNSW academics.
The Role
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, the Contracts Officers are responsible for reviewing, advising on, and negotiating competitive and contract research agreements. The roles work closely with colleagues across UNSW, including the Legal Office, Industry & Innovation, and other RGC teams.
