About this role:

This role will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture within the People Services and will work closely with the Director of People Operations. Key responsibilities include.

  • Leading essential People & Culture services, with a strong emphasis on payroll and pay compliance.
  • Enhancing processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency, while aligning with best practices to improve the employee experience.
  • Guiding the evolution of the People Services function to deliver outstanding service and build trust across the organization.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to identify and address areas of improvement.

About You:

We’re seeking a dynamic, hands on leader with:

  • Extensive experience leading P&C shared service delivery functions in a large complex organisation.
  • A deep understanding of payroll operations, compliance frameworks and Australian employment law, with a proven track record in driving payroll accuracy and confidence.
  • Proven success in managing case resolution processes, including tracking, reporting, and escalations.
  • Demonstrated success in standardising and improving processes to reduce risk and enhance customer outcomes – Lean Six Sigma training would be desirable.
  • Exceptional customer services skills and the ability to create a positive employee experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including proficiency in case management, ticketing systems and using data to inform decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural and operational change with a focus on excellence, simplification and compliance.
