Why Your Role Matters
With Lifelong Learning a core part of the university’s strategy including delivery at UNSW Canberra, the Education Transformation Manager role is intended to provide key professional support to the planning, development, adoption, and implementation of the Lifelong Learning (LLL) project at UNSW Canberra. Working closely with the Associate Dean (LLL) Professor Deborah Blackman and Sydney LLL colleagues, the successful candidate will spearhead this rapidly developing area creating a coherent, integrated approach to lifelong learning and then working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to bring the ideas to life.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
- A relevant degree and extensive relevant experience or equivalent experience in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated capacity to apply them in a range of professional functions.
- Advanced level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of experience working with a range of university systems and applications, including ECLIPS and web content development.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
