Your new role
Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for social impact? As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering our Housing and Property strategy and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this hands-on role partners directly with the General Manager of our Housing & Property division, providing critical financial oversight, insight, and leadership across Uniting Housing Victoria, a registered community housing provider. You’ll lead budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver high-quality reporting to executive stakeholders and the Board, and assess capital project feasibility through robust financial modelling.

Your skills and experience
You’re a CA/CPA-qualified professional with strong commercial acumen and a passion for working in values-led, purpose-driven organisations.
You will also bring with you:
- Previous experience within the community housing or property development sectors
- Extensive experience in financial modelling, management of budgets and preparation of financial reports
- Sound understanding of accounting standards relevant to NFP entities
- Demonstrated experience in leading a high functioning financial team
