Your new role

In this role as an Intake and Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for consumers accessing financial counselling through the Hume Merri-bek Financial Counselling Program (HMFCP).

You’ll manage the intake process and provide vital administrative support to the financial counselling team. The position requires the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and effective collaboration with the HMFCP team and Team Leader – Financial Counselling.

Your skills and experience
  • Diploma of Community Service (desirable) or relevant experience
  • Currently studying Diploma of Financial Counselling (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative and or intake roles (desirable)
  • Experience in working with Financial Counselling team/organisation and/or clients (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision
