Your new role
As a Administration Officer, you will be working as part of an Administrative Team reporting to the Administration Team Leader, Community Services, Southern Melbourne.
Key responsibilities of the Administration Officer include:
- Reception coverage; assisting clients and stakeholders with enquiries at reception and over the phone in a timely manner
- General office administration; proactively keeping all office functions working efficiently
- Meeting coordination; invitations, room bookings, agendas and minute taking
- Program support; supporting program staff with administrative tasks and maintaining client databases as required
Your skills and experience
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative roles
- Certificate in Business Administration or relevant experience (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
- Ability to problem solve and effectively manage feedback.
- Experience in handling sensitive information and maintaining privacy.
- High level computer literacy skills including demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office.
