The role
The role focuses on integrated planning and service delivery for mothers and their babies undergoing withdrawal at Curran Place. It involves collaboration with family support services, Maternal and Child Health Nurses, and AOD services (including Intake and Assessment, Counselling, and Care Coordination). The role also supports clients in accessing and connecting with family and support services.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the below qualifications and experiences.
- Bachelor-level tertiary qualification in a relevant health or welfare discipline such as:
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Nursing
- Allied Health Sciences
- Competency in dual diagnosis (or willingness to complete training within the first 24 months of employment)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field
- Candidates with 5+ years of experience and demonstrated experience providing supervision to AOD support staff will be classified as Senior Family Counsellor
