The Opportunity

This 12-month fixed-term contract is a high-impact opportunity to lead meaningful change across a complex, national multi-site environment where safety, operational excellence and customer experience are critical. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and frontline teams, shaping how change is delivered and embedded across the organisation.  You will influence at all levels, bringing a pragmatic and people-focused approach to transformation while driving measurable and lasting outcomes.

What you’ll do

You will partner closely with transformation leaders and project managers to lead the end-to-end delivery of change across major operational and safety initiatives, ensuring change is practical, well understood and successfully adopted.  Working as a trusted advisor, you will directly influence how change is experienced on the ground—balancing operational continuity with meaningful and lasting transformation.

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end change strategies across national multi site operations
  • Assess impact, readiness and adoption risks across sites, roles and processes
  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans
  • Drive leadership alignment through cascades, briefings and clear messaging
  • Support implementation with readiness planning and feedback loops
  • Track adoption and effectiveness using metrics, audits and business outcomes
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring alignment with operational, safety and governance frameworks
  • Coach leaders and teams to build change capability and improve customer and employee experience

About you

You are an experienced change professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced operational environments and is passionate about improving how people work. Your approach is pragmatic and adaptable, and you bring a strong balance of strategic thinking, operational understanding and people engagement, underpinned by a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and tailoring structured change approaches to suit operational realities.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale change programs, ideally within complex, operational or safety environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence frontline teams through to executives
  • Experience applying recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, PRINCE2, PMBOK) pragmatically within complex operational environments
  • Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and safety-focused environments
  • Ability to navigate fast-paced, national multi-site operations with competing priorities
  • High emotional intelligence, with strong relationship-building and communication capability
  • Resilient, detail-oriented and confident in providing independent advice and challenge
  • Experience working within industrial, operational, field-based or safety-critical environments will be highly regarded
