  • Design and deliver hands‑on, competency‑based programs grounded in adult learning and human‑factors principles.
  • Develop structured learning pathways and assessment standards that drive safe, consistent performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, supporting capability uplift and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor compliance, training governance and competency coverage across the workforce.
  • Coach leaders in best‑practice training and development approaches.

About you
You excel in complex, safety‑critical environments such as logistics, mining, chemical processing, construction or waste management. You bring deep experience in competency‑based training and are confident designing programs for high‑risk work, hazardous substances and dangerous goods.  What you will bring:

  • Prior experience designing, developing and delivering training in operational or technical settings.
  • Strong expertise in competency‑based training and Training Needs Analyses.
  • Demonstrated instructional design capability with a solid understanding of operational risk and compliance.
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) and or other relevant training design qualifications.
  • Experience with training requirements for hazardous materials, high‑risk work and equipment operation.
    • Knowledge of asset management, maintenance practices or technical/laboratory environments is an advantage.
