The Opportunity

Cleanaway APS is Australia’s leading Plastic Recovery Facility provider of reusable sharps containers, creating a safer and more sustainable future for the healthcare sector.

We have a pivotal opportunity for a Planning and Purchasing Coordinator, based at St Mary’s, NSW. In this role, you will maintain and utilise the MRP system to schedule and plan production requirements. Success will come from your ability to collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance.  Additionally, you will be responsible for.

  • Forecasting and analysing demand to anticipate material and resource requirements
  • Developing and maintaining weekly and daily production schedules
  • Assist in raising production orders for stock-on-hand (SOH) items
  • Generating inventory reports to support control, cycle counting, and annual stocktake
  • Assisting with purchasing packaging, components, pallets, and consumables while maintaining system integrity
  • Maintaining and updating production status, controls, and MRP modules
  • Monitoring external warehouses and arranging stock transfers based on warehouse holding requirements

 

About You
We are seeking a proactive problem-solving professional with proven experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations. To be successful, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in production scheduling and planning
  • A relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and team members
  • The ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
