The Role
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team at the Lucas Heights Landfill in a full-time, permanent role training up to become a Machine Operator. Whether you're already qualified or looking for a career change, this position offers the opportunity to develop skills in operating machinery in a landfill environment.
Must be willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Learn to operate machinery which will/may include- Water truck, Dump truck, Roller, Grader, Loader with progression to Backo, Loader, Compactor, Excavator
- Safely operate waste processing equipment
- Undertake daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment & refuelling, maintenance reports include Pre & Post checks on machinery
- General site cleaning, setting up of- litter nets, start picket fencing, erection & dismantling of signage
- Assisting customers in Public Drop Off area

Cleanaway is seeking individuals to participate in a training program which may include licencing and other training required to set you up to be a Machine Operator, followed by ongoing learning for the next 12 months.
