The Opportunity
We’re seeking a seasoned environmental professional to step into a high-impact role focused on reporting, policy, compliance, and governance. As Senior Environment Adviser, you’ll work closely with the Head of Environment, and our central HSE team, to streamline systems, drive improvements, and lead policy initiatives that influence both internal practices and external stakeholders. This role encompasses technical expertise, strategy execution, and coaching within a large and complex organisation undergoing environmental transformation.
What’s Required
- Minimum 10 years' experience in environmental management across high-risk, complex organisations
- Deep understanding of ISO14001, HSE frameworks, management systems and environmental regulation
- Ability to lead programs and influence across functions, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Government bodies
- Skilled in translating policy into action through system and process improvement
- Proven experience working with and mentoring environmental or equivalent teams and fostering capability uplift
- Strong written and verbal communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong capability with Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as experience with HSE platforms such as Enablon, myosh, Intelex, or others.
