Quality Control & Training Coordinator

The Opportunity

Due to an internal move, we now have an opportunity for a Quality control professional to join our team. In this key role, your focus will be on delivering comprehensive training programs, managing safety systems, and ensuring the quality of our waste management processes through rigorous audits. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys variety, and wants to make a tangible impact on product quality, team capability, and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Conduct hands‑on audits of recyclable products, including bale and commingled recycling materials.
  • Record product composition data and upload reports into the central database.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to identify and implement quality improvements.
  • Act as the point of contact for safety documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions – including onboarding for new employees and quarterly training programs.
  • Work with managers to identify training needs and ensure all team members are skilled, safe, and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate training records and drive continuous workforce development.

About You

  • Experience in quality control (manufacturing, recycling, or operations environment preferred).
  • Detail‑oriented with strong data reporting and analysis skills.
  • Confident communicator and facilitator, comfortable delivering training to diverse teams.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed quality audits and implement improvements.
