The Opportunity
As the Plant Manager at our St Marys hazardous materials facility, you will be responsible for leading safe daily operations, and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. You will also be accountable for delivering performance, efficiency, compliance, and safety throughout the facility.
Other responsibilities include.
- Coaching, mentoring and leading a successful, coherent and safe team who are focused on the customer.
- Leading and managing all plant operations, including maintenance, transport, storage and logistics.
- Promoting and implementing a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and initiating corrective actions when required.
- Ensuring statutory and legal compliance in line with Australian and Environmental regulations
- Managing plant expenditure for maintenance and operating costs.

- A strong commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership experience building and developing a successfully focused team.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders across various levels of the business.
- Practical knowledge of working with hazardous materials in a logistics or warehousing environment.
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, reporting and performance metrics.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or significant industry experience.
