The Opportunity

The role of Credit Risk Manager is responsible for managing the customer credit risk function for Cleanaway. This position is pivotal in establishing the business processes, managing resources, working with stakeholders and external credit bureaus to mitigate the credit risk for our customer base. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and establishing effective credit risk management processes for the company
• Lead a small team to create purpose, capability and contingency
• Manage and oversee the credit risk assessment process for new and existing customers and implement mitigation actions as required
• Collaborate and build relationships with business representatives to balance sales and debtor interests to maximise business performance
• Work with external stakeholders including administrators, mercantile agents and credit bureau providers
• Provide periodic and ad hoc management reporting 
• Comply with the systems and standards set when dealing with internal and external customers along with statutory obligations
• Understand and comply with required Delegated Authority

About you

• Extensive experience in managing day-to-day credit operations in a large organisation
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk management principles and processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change and deliver business improvement initiatives
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical skills including ability to work with large data sets
• A passion for developing talent and fostering a high-performance culture
