The Opportunity
This full time 9 month fixed term contract opportunity is part of the corporate Finance function, and aligned to a specific business unit, you will provide commercial analysis and end-to-end financial support to operational leaders. With a mix of financial reporting and commercial guidance, this role involves month-end completion and reporting, detailed analysis, forecasting and monitoring of results to provide key insights to the business, budgeting and KPI reporting.
- Monthly P&L reporting
- Financial modelling and reporting to support projects
- Liaising with operation’s teams nationally
- Providing data analysis and commercial insight
About You
With strong financial and analytical skills gained in a medium to large organisation, ideally you have partnered with operational teams to provide end to end financial support and analysis to assist the achievement of company initiatives. Experience includes:
- Month end completion and competence in general ledger systems
- Financial and management reporting
- Strong financial competence and a willingness to get involved in end-to-end financial support to the business
- Forecasting and associated analysis, in medium to large, complex business
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Exposure to engineering, logistics, mining or other industrial sectors is advantageous
- CA or CPA qualified
