Cleaning Supervisor

$33 per hour + 12% superannuation

The Position

• Supervise and support cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness across all areas
• Operate specialised cleaning equipment – including floor scrubbers
• Assist with hands-on cleaning duties as required, particularly in schools and common areas including amenities
• Monitor and maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the facility
• Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to cleaning team members
• Ensure all cleaning procedures and WHS protocols are followed consistently

The Person

• Previous experience in a supervisory cleaning role within commercial, school, or hospitality environments is highly regarded
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team
• Able to work independently and confidently manage staff and cleaning operations
• Experienced in operating cleaning equipment with a solid understanding of WHS requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
• A valid driver’s licence and a Blue Card
