THE POSITION:

• Create memorable dining experiences by preparing and presenting mouth-watering meals made from fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Lead the way in safety by strictly following OH&S regulations, safe work practices, and gold-standard food handling procedures.
• Drive operational excellence by managing catering controls smartly and minimising waste without compromising on quality.
• Set the benchmark for cleanliness with impeccable food hygiene, spotless workspaces, and top-tier infection control—meeting and exceeding both Compass and Toyota standards.

THE PERSON:

• Qualified with Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery, backed by over 5 years of hands-on experience in high-energy, fast-paced kitchen environments
• Versatile culinary skills across both buffet-style and à la carte service, with sharp time management and a strong focus on allergen safety
• Well-versed in HACCP principles and committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and handling
• Genuinely passionate about food, with a strong drive to deliver outstanding dining experiences and exceptional customer service every time
