Compass Group Australia will deliver essential support services at Peninsula University Hospital, one of Victoria’s largest health infrastructure projects. We will provide vital services, including, cleaning and waste services, security, grounds and gardens and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Peninsula Health, this facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.

THE POSITION

• Follow strict infection control protocols.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning across all of the hospital facility including; patient rooms, operating theatres, public spaces, and offices to maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist with post-discharge cleaning and prepare patient rooms for new admissions.
• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Use and correctly store hospital-approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues.
• Use approved cleaning agents and disinfectants to effectively prevent infections and ensure a safe environment.
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste.
• Confidently use floor cleaning machinery such as scrubbers and buffers.

THE PERSON

• Follows strict health, safety, and infection control protocols.
• Pays close attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Understands the need for privacy and sensitivity in a hospital setting.
• Works effectively with hospital staff and peers to provide a streamlined service
• Has or is able to obtain a National Police Clearance and working with Children Check
• Willingness to comply to Hospital immunisation requirements as requested.
