We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Functions Manager with energy, creativity, and a love for making things happen. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our functions and events run smoothly, our guests leave smiling, and our team feels supported every step of the way.
The Position
- Running the show as manager-on-duty for daily functions.
- Leading and motivating function supervisors & team leaders.
- Making sure every plate, platter, and pour meets our high service standards.
- Supporting event ops with rostering, stock control, and supplier orders.
- Working alongside our talented chefs to ensure menu perfection and guest satisfaction.
- Meeting, greeting, and wowing clients at every event.
- Being the calm, confident leader who keeps everything on track — even when juggling multiple events.
The Person
- Previous experience in functions and events supervision and management
- Prove ability to anticipate customer needs and achieving and/or exceeding customer satisfaction standards.
- Team player and good leadership skills.
- Flexible approach and attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Driver’s licence.
